You haven't seen our neighbor's dachsund.

He's a one dog frenzy every time someone pulls up in the driveway.

OOHHH MANNN,

Doxies are BRUTAL!! They are among some of the toughest in-fighters you have ever seen. Three or four standard Doxies is a gang to be reconned with, big time.

They were/are badger hunters. And badgers don't scare them one little bit!

MY Dachshund went into a frenzy once...I couldn't stop her! She managed to get the neighbors' leftover fried chicken out of their garbage...

'Twas scary. We still have our thumbs, though.

A few years back, in the Washington DC area, a dachshund put a few weeks' old baby into critical condition (I don't know if the baby survived). The baby was in a playpen with nylon mesh screening on the sides. The mother was in the next room. The dog ripped a hole in the mesh and got several major bites into the tiny baby, before the mother could get to it.
