Well, here it is. I'm sure I'll be open to ridicule, but here goes.

Obviously most males are aroused by watching others engaged in sexual acts. But the question is why would that be so when viewing two females in acts where there is no male role for the viewer to project himself?

I believe it is that women, despite social efforts to change their nature, still equate sexual relations with emotional attachment. The traditional male ability to enjoy sex for its own sake, separate from any value other than its intrinsic pleasure, is still largely a male domain. That is why the usual portrayal of woman in porn shows them as consumed by a voracious sexual appetite, in which, unlike the real world, just about any male partner will do. Foreplay is minimal, so they can get on to the action. So besides the basic attraction of visual stimulation, a male indulges in the fantasy of readily available women who seek the same sexual charge they do.

Taken to the extreme, a woman so horny as to find the female body as desirable as the male is an undeniable expression of a lust beyond any meaning in normal relations. It is just sex. This is not to say that two women can't have a longer term relationship, but men don't fantasize about these two cheerleaders settling down in a house together and seeking out a surrogate father, they think about how hot and uninhibited they are.

I think it's the same thing with female masturbation porn, or those who are attracted to bestiality. If a female will take a canine partner, that's one horny wench!
