Two NFL cheerleaders arrested at Tampa bar
Tampa, Florida Two Carolina Panther cheerleaders spent the night in jail after a rough night in Channelside. The Panthers were in town to play the Bucs Sunday afternoon.
Witnesses say Angela Keathley and Renee Thomas were engaged in some type of sexual activity inside a bathroom stall at Banana Joe's around 2:20 am Sunday. Another woman waiting to use the bathroom got into an argument with the pair.
Police say Thomas punched the woman in the face. When Thomas was arrested, she gave police the name of another Panthers cheerleader.
Thomas could face additional charges for lying to police, once they confirm her identity.
Keathley was charged with disorderly conduct and obstructing or opposing an officer, while Thomas was charged with one count of battery.
The two women were taken to Hillsborough County jail, where they both bonded out later Sunday morning.
What about Raquel Welch? Ann Margaret?
That is sick, dude. I meant it as a joke. Now I'm blind! AAAAHHHHHHH
Those were the quickest ones to get pics of and I didn't want to waste too much bandwidth...LOL
There were many more from the 40's, 50's and early 60's. Jane Russell, Raquel Welch, Sophia Loren, Jane Mansfield, Dorothy Lamour, Rita Hayworth, Lana Turner, Grace Kelly, Brigitte Bardot,Elizabeth Taylor, and the list goes on and on....LOL
The sex in the bathroom charge sounds a bit doubtful.
Goodness gracious those mug shots are awful. Well actually the blond isn't bad but the black headed one is just plain ugly.
they interviewed one of the patrons today on bay news 9 and it certainly sounded like some all female lovin was goin on
One only needs to mention these gals have ties to the bush administration and the media will give you every disgusting little detail.
Details! We need details!
And pictures.
TAMPA, Fla. (AP) -- Two Carolina Panthers cheerleaders were arrested at a bar where witnesses told police the women were having sex in a restroom stall, angering patrons waiting in line.
Renee Thomas, 20, of Pittsboro, N.C., and Angela Keathley, 26, of Belmont, N.C., were taken to Hillsborough County Jail early Sunday. Witnesses said the women were having sex with each other in a stall at the club in the Channelside district.
They were kicked off the team Monday for violating a signed code that bans conduct embarrassing to the team or organization, Panthers spokesman Charlie Dayton said.
Thomas was charged with battery for allegedly striking a bar patron when she was leaving the restroom, then landed in even more trouble after police said she gave officers a driver's license belonging to another Panthers cheerleader who was not in Tampa.
Thomas, who made the trip to Florida for Sunday's game between the Panthers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, was released from jail on $500 bail before police learned she was not the person she claimed to be.
Detectives were trying to determine how Thomas got the driver's license of a third cheerleader.
Providing police with a false name is a misdemeanor. However, Thomas was charged Monday with giving a false name and causing harm to another -- a third-degree felony punishable by probation or a jail term of 1 to 5 years, said police spokeswoman Laura McElroy.
Keathley, charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, was released on $750 bail about an hour before the Panthers played the Bucs at Raymond James Stadium.
The Panthers cheerleaders were not in town to perform at the game.

Underage, drunk, violent and having lesbian sex in a bathroom stall. I'll bet mom and dad are real proud.
Okay, I was wrong about cheerleaders being well paid.
I think the football teams are really messing up by doing things that way. I assumed it was a more professional operation.
"Over the hill"
Looks like I was wrong about that, too. According to another article, the one girl is 20, and the other in her mid-twenties.
Man, when a girl has that much mileage on her at such a young age, it's darn near tragic.
Easy enough to do. It seems like it would be a glamorous and well paying job.
Both girls looked fine to me, so I guess I don't get the over the hill comment. Then again, some of it's just genetic. Some women, like Barbara Bush just age prematurely. Seems to be a less common thing with men.
You got it, Rebel. I tried to explain this to my husband, who of course didn't want to believe it... :)
"Both girls looked fine to me"
As I age, it seems to me that I am increasingly able to read people's faces.
Oh, I know, I could be fooling myself. I'd like to get some kind of objective measure to see if I am.
We've all heard the old saw, "Everyone has the face he deserves by age 40." But an immoral life seems to start showing in a woman's face much earlier.
I looked at the mileage I saw (or thought I saw) in those girls' faces, and assumed they were ten years older than they are.
Lol, I can assure you that I did nothing to deserve this. At least I hope I didn't. I shaved once when my son was tiny, and he cried and cried. I learned my lesson about what was under this beard then.
