General?
I thought he was sent down to the minors for insubordination.
Something to do with Kansas City?
Ya done good troops !......Well Done Mr & Mrs Eaker ...well done !
El Roy has a BUNNY ?!?!?! ..... Was she tall ?
I remember when I called him and asked if he got our flowers we sent.
Girl Friday wanted to send him Roses for his piano yet I convinced her he'd like Tulips for his Organ much better......he laughed and laughed !
Girl Friday wasn't happy when she figured that out ....:o)
My picture is much prettier. LOL. Think we had been in the woods six weeks, no shower...wait, you are AF? Was the pizza free, or did they make it in 30 minutes?
(ducks.)
LOL
Nah, that was STL. Little tiff with the TSA.
We had delivery, but the beer was always warm so we created the exclusive Big Watch Lil Pecker EOD Bar & BBQ Rib Joints around the world to get through the bad times when the pool was being cleaned.........
Bet they sung kumbayah, too.
I think most of the USAF is like a company or used to be. I'm seeing a lot of the convoy security being manned by cooks, clerks an bottle washers from Uncle Sugars Wind Force and they are doing very well.
For the most part AF is a flightline op within a secure site. Security Forces tasked to do the interior and external security patrols, LP/OP's etc etc agumented by other off duty troops on Quick Reaction Force Teams.
That 82nd jump into north iraq when the invasion started included what I believe they call a usaf phoenix team. Security, Red Horse Civil Engineers, EOD, Combat Controllers, Pararescue, and C3cM Command and Control Element to quickly clear, repair and open a captured airfield.......for fixed wing transport to bring in the pallets of gedunk.....and the jacuzzis etc etc ....:o)
Times a changing since we took our turn in the barrel Patton !........;o)
Ok, I am old - I admit it. LOL.
Y'all make us proud.
Everyday!
(Note that I didn't ping TheMom!!??!!)
;<)
Army vs. Air Force
BLAH BLAH BLAH
You know - they had to go through Survival School up at Stead. It was the toughest 20 minutes of their entire careers!
;-)
Pardon, but I did survival school in alaska, and in panama, twice - I think I flunked the first time...
LOL....SERE school, Winter school in Alaska, Jungle Survival at Ft Sherman in Panama, Water Weenie School at Homestead.....and the best was an Aussie school in Alice Springs for desert survival. After all that training I try and keep a sat phone handy with junk food delivery on speed dial.
We have actually had KFC, Pizza and Beer air dropped to us on occassion......:o)
Yeah - but AF had to rough it....
My ex-'s group ended up breaking into the mess and making bacon and eggs when they were supposed to be living off the land & the rabbit. Their Rabbit Keeper decided it was a pet and he wouldn't let them eat it.
Oh.. the stories...
GPS ROCKS!
Interrogator school.
GPS ?
Young lady we used a 4-6 & 8 digit grid, 4 if we didnt want to be found, 6 if we were hungry and 8 if it was Oh Beer Thirty and didn't care.....:o)
GPS....bah ! Grid's....back when men were men and sheep were afraid !!
Piggy Number ???? Blank....complete Blank......:o) PTSS !!
Yet DD in my old age I never leave the house without the GPS.....kewl tool ! Mines a Garmin Map76 that fell off a goobermint truck. Awesome little tools to master and use. I like em ! But stay up with basics for when the batteries fail......
I know all the tricks - and they are all of them nasty.
The claymore clacker is secondarily a detonation device...LOL
The black box, with the pipe, on yer shins, tied and bound, ....3 days !
Dang. Uahree.
I evaded back to the camp.....thinking out of the box got me back in the box per se....
I counted heads like a blue jay during initial stay. I thought I had the proper number and after escape I saw 15 leave in vehicles and on foot to search.
Doom on me......:o)
Best laid plan was to get back help others....they told me I was nobel yet seriously stupid.
Ahh the good old days !
