Yes. You're right. I got my kitten on 10-9 from the Milwaukee Humane Society. Two days after I brought her home she had an URI. I took her to my vet and she was on anti's twice a day for two weeks.

She's all better now and happy.

Now beware of the infamous Urinary Tract infection. If she all of a sudden starts going potty anywhere other than her kitty box, it is probably that. Easily treated, but most people think their animal is just misbehaving.
