I'm sure you must be. I'm trying to decide what to wear. And do I go into the hot tub? Or on the Bridge?
Decisions, decisions...
I'll be getting up early to have everything ready, and I plan to wear a really big bathing suit ... or maybe just a really big towel.
If you want the absolutely best view of everything, you should take station in one of the control centers in the Thrust Ring.
Not only do you get a "ring-side" seat for the takeoff, but you also get to see the unfolding drama as the habitats swing out and begin rotating.
It will be a trifle noisy, and the air-conditioning is a bit spotty, but the views will be wonderful!
You also get the strange transition seen in Kubrick's "2001" as the floor turns into a wall!
