Well, there's only three of us & were all a few years apart.
My brothers are 4 years apart & I was born 10 years after
he who is always at fault... he takes after the black Irish in our
blood. The oldest of us has brown hair, but grows a red moustache...
like the German side & my mom says I have her grandma's creamy
English skin. We're Scottish, German, French, English, Irish & Welsh...
if that explains anything. It can be annoying saying "yes, he is" all the
time, so it can be good to actually look like your siblings... sometimes.
Nah...everyone who knows us knows me instantly...I'm taller than all of them. :o]
I will have to look into those. Most trips I get by with a rollaboard (checked) laptop bag and small backpack (leave the camera at home and one of the small bags can be left). But this might also be nice for my "emergency kit" -- I never fly now without a change of shirt, socks, etc., plus a mini kit with razor, toothbrush/paste, moustache wax, floss, Woolite, etc. carried on.
What mom was saying was a reference to the sporran being
useful in holding "things" down... so as not to be obvious.
(Is that a gun in your pocket...) *wink wink*
Yepper...I think you could benefit from Space Bags. I need to get some more, because I wore the other ones out with short trips after I got back to the States.
They come in all different sizes now, so if you have a Super Wal-Mart, they probably have the full range. I was living in a "small town" so I had to take what they had or do without. I took them.
Oh, I'm the shortest. We get shorter as you go
along. In my mom's half of the family, each sibling
was taller than the last. Funny in an odd way.
Sich micht dae fer th' Sassenach, buit ye'd require a hivvie sporran fair the Scot...
It's haird tae keep a guid maun' doon...
*\;-)
I'm next to the last in age, but tallest...even taller than my parents. I was always asked, "Can you get that ...... down for me?"
Or "Can you reach that.....for me?"
I think I was 12 when it started...:o[
And according to Mae West, a good man is hard to find...
I'm headin' fer the barn folks...
See ya tomorrow!
That's not quite the way I heard it... I could be wrong, of course, but I think not...;o]
Good night, 'Face. Pleasant dreams.
You ever see the keychains where that
statement if flipped around? *snicker*
'Night Dr. Ms. Tulip! I'll see you tomorrow!
No, but the way I heard it was "flipped around!"
(And I heartily agree!)
That's what I meant... I have stuff on the desk in front
of me (& it's not my cat for once), so I'm distracted. ;-)
'Night, All Y'all!
Amen.
When I was in law school, some of the girls on a "girl floor" in a dorm (not my dorm - I was coed) placed a letter in each of their windows to create the "flipped around" version of that saying.
Okay, It's hard to find a good man.
Sheesh!
