Many people simply don't respect those that have obesity issues. Somewhat cruel I suppose but then again, would you think highly of an chronic alcoholic or druggie or gambler? It is human nature to judge others whether anyone wants to admit to it or not.

I guess it's just me but I noticed I tend to prefer friends who are overweight. What you see is what you get with them. They tend to be more friendly and down to earth IMHO!

A lot of things go through my mind when I see people every single day. But I would NEVER shame them or point and laugh even if I thought they could not see me. The type of person that shames people has their own chronic problem.
