I didn't think Card should have been kept on after the election last year.

One thing I noticed that maybe gives some credence to the thinking in this article. The President did't appear to take his dogs to Camp David this weekend.

I know, petty observation, but they showed both he and Laura getting off the copter and walking across the lawn -- she one direction and he to the crowd. No dogs... I always see him carrying the dogs off the copter, so I thought (at the time) this wasn't a weekend for play... he was thinking.

Well, I think a little shakeup is in order. Whoever pushed the Miers pick needs a new job and whoever advised Bush all the way down to a 39% approval rating needs be fired.
