Well if Redstates is right, I can only anticipate the 7 Dummyfunny threads we will have tommorrow.
If thats the best they got, let them indict. Hell that crooked liberal CS Berger stole from the archives on fat boy Clinton's orders and all he got was a fine and probation. Let them indict on false statements if thats the best they have. Eff the liberals! Laugh at them.
CONSPIRACY, She took part in an operation that was not cleared by the Director of the CIA, that involved an attempt to undermine the Foreign policy of the POTUS, This borderlines on Treason,
Conspiracy!
Impossible! This would be logical and fit all the facts! That'd NEVER happen!
I think you've been had.
I am highly skeptical of your sources.
Might they be Merlot.
Unsubstantiated info from anonymous sources.
Well, it's more reliable than a NYT story.
Yeah right, whatever....
Probably a troll.
retrad? no... reratd? no... redart?... no... retrda? no... drater?....
Wow it spells the same thing! t-r-o-l-l(ol)
Is it possible that it is more than that? What if Wilson and Plame were getting gravy from OFF? There are some 2500 companies known to be participating. What is the chance that ole' Joe and/or Val can be linked to one of them? What if they were part of a rogue CIA op to facilitate saddam's quest for yellowcake and it blew up in their faces? What if Wilson really went to Niger to cover his and his boss' a$$?
Maybe continuing the investigation is not such a bad idea.
Anyway, all the crying from some quarters about "grand jury leaks" is misinformed - - there have been no "leaks", at least not illegal ones. Most of this kind of insider information is the result of deliberate (and perfectly legal) "leaks".
People who testify before a grand jury are free to disclose their testimony as well as the questions they were asked by the prosecutor and by members of the grand jury. (Note: Witnesses are NOT allowed to record the proceedings or take notes.) The prosecutor has asked most witnesses not to reveal any information about their appearances. But those witnesses are free to tell the prosecutor to drop dead, and if they feel like it they can go write a NY Times op-ed piece about their grand jury experiences. Perfectly legal.
What is certain is that all the witnesses in this case have discussed their grand jury appearances with their lawyers. (Note: Defense lawyers are NOT allowed in the grand jury room with their clients.) So, what have commonly been referred to as "leaks" about Fitzgerald's investigation are actually just tidbits of information that defense lawyers have dropped on selected reporters. Those "hot tips" are usually based on information the lawyers have gleaned from debriefing their clients. Sometimes those "hot tips" are complete fabrications or carefully shaded "truth". There is nothing illegal about any of this. In fact, the lawyers and the witnesses can make up all kinds of outrageous stuff if they want. (See: Sid Blumenthal)
The defense lawyers for Rove, Libby, and other Administration witnesses are running a magnificent con game on the "mainstream" press by dropping dark, ominous hints on certain reporters. Those ominous hints are, of course, easily corroborated by those OTHER "sources close to the investigation" (LOL), the defense lawyers for Miller, Russert, and Cooper, et al.
It is important to understand that ALL of these "leaks" are made with an agenda in mind; in some cases the agenda is political, and in other cases the goal is disinformation or misdirection, but in most cases "leaks" are carefully calculated to somehow help those witnesses who believe they may be targets.
This whole thing has been hilarious to watch unfold.
Looks like somebody is spreading some great stuff now!
heh. cool title change. much better.
LOL
"DC Insider" has no track record.
You probably killed half the DU trolls with that title, though.
I have no idea what you are talking about so here is a picture of an Asian with a Pancake on his head.
