I wish that we used the 1928 exclusively, but right now we're stuck with the modern BCP, ugly language and all. Of course, by the time we get back from vacation, it'll be Advent. In our church, Advent and Lent means the Agnus Dei and the Sanctus from Schubert's "Deutsche Messe". I love Advent and Lent!

I wish that we used the 1928 exclusively, but right now we're stuck with the modern BCP, ugly language and all. Our canons call for the 1928, but allow the Anglican Missal. A priest who tried to use the '79 would no doubt be getting a phone call from the Archbishop in short order...
