Advent is here. Does that not make Thanksgiving a bit of a downer? Thanksgiving always precedes Advent. Or it does over here, in the Anglican churches; we're still in Trinitytide through Saturday.

I'd not heard of "Trinitytide" before. Of course, we're still Episcopalian and some of the Anglican terminology has been shunted aside. What do you call the "season" between Pentecost and Advent?
