
Here you see the end result of our traditional Korean dinner one night. It was good thing they were taking away most of the bowls during the dinner, because there simply would not have been room for them all!
BTW, you can't see it in this photo, but we're all sitting on little mats on the floor. It was difficult for us Westerners.
You also can't see the steel chopsticks with rectangular cross-section handles. Gave me fits. I do fine with Japanese and Chinese chopsticks, but it was very difficult to get control of these.
Also difficult is their tradition of everyone eating out of the same bowls. They sometimes yield to Westerners on this, but not this night.
