If I said "OUCH!" would that be an appropriate response for when you tried to take your shorts off?

Not quite. I'm just glad it didn't hold too well to the skin.

Well, I'm SURE, I would have said a lot more than "ouch" had it been me...at least you didn't have to use nail-polish remover on the sticky spots. ;o]
