Those of us in the Anglosphere stick stubbornly to the English system of measurement!! I don't know why you include stone, but Americans always had the habit of doing things differently, also the Imperial (English) System has a lot of units that aren't normally used, such as 'hands' or 'furlong'.

I never understood a "furlong," either, even though it, too, is a term that is used mostly in horse racing.
