Anyone want to learn some Canadian slang?
According to my local newspaper these are mostly Canadian words/terms.

So what do you think they mean???

---------------------------------------------------
Here are the answers:

Butter tart-Tarts baked with a butter, corn syrup sugar, raisins, eggs and vanilla.

Poutine-French fries layered with gravy and cheese curds, served still hot, but with these cheese starting to melt and ooze between the fries.

Eavestrough- The gutter around your house to catch rain.

Q-tips-Cotton swab, brand name.

Cheesies-cheese puffs

Bachelor for rent-Otherwise known as a studio apartment for rent. (No separate bedroom)

Timbits-Tim Horton's (National donut shop) donut holes.

coffee crisp-Chocolate bar, slight coffee flavor, layered crisps covered in Choc.

Double-double - Coffee with two sugars and two creams.

There you have it FRiends.
Now you too can speak Canadian.

The winners are Monkeyface, Irish_Thatcherite , and EsmeraldaA.

FReepmail me your addresses, and I will mail you each a Coffee Crisp!
