Yepper! I love my animals, and I do all I can to protect them. I have never allowed my cats outside, and my dogs have only gone out on a leash, in a fenced yard, or on a long lead. I have seen too many dead pets on the roadside.
I'll let you know how she likes it tomorrow.

Sometimes sticking a treat in your pocket helps to teach them to walk
with you rather then scamper up the nearest tree.
Of course then later they over turn the laundry hamper trying to get at the pocket where you had the treats but that is just part of it.
