Hola AAC, how are ya?
Did you like my clone?
To: Darksheare
Hiya Darks! Good to see ya.

Sometimes I think the very olden days were better.
Not feeling well? The local medicine man/woman would give you something to feel better, sacrifice a creature to appease the gods, and smoke out your bad spirits.
Nowadays, we have to wait for tests.
My oldest has an appointment with a urologist on Tuesday, the outcome of which determines whether we have abdomianl surgery now or later. Gack! Ugh. But... brother-in-law was looking at some nasty back surgery with long recuperation, but learned of a new procedure that involves a minimal incision and very quick recovery (hours, not days). Went in for the latter yesterday, and was home and largely pain-free (for the first time in some time) by evening. Sometimes the new technologies actually are better.

Phew! I thought maybe they'd caught whiff of something that ought-not-to-be-mentioned in the sub-basement.
*looking around cautiously*
Not that there is anything down there....really...Um...I'll shut up now.

LOL.
Well, I'm going to take a quick tour of FR to see wht's happened in the past day (day and a half? two days? timezone plus dateline change makes it difficult to discern when I was last on...), then go away for the night -- even if the body clock is trying to say "it's almost noon"...

Yeah, but there's no mysticism or pageantry.

Ah yes, the appeasment of the gods.
*sigh*
Unfortunately we are now 'civilised', and sacrificing ones enemies is frowned upon now.

How's the dancing going, are you practicing a little?
To: Darksheare
Yup. Rules. Regulations. OSHA. Environmental Impact Statements.

I've so far stomped to death several feet, my sneakers, some kind of cat toy, some fragile something that seems to be important but I cannot place why, and various other objects with my strangely Frankenstien like clumping around.

Hello!
I've read some of your posts elsewhere on FR but I haven't introduced myself before now.
