OK, so, given the comments on Free Republic for the last month, these are what the qualifications are that would make everyone happy:
1. An Originalist 2. Originalist proven by a few comments, but not a long enough record to give too much ammo to the liberals. 3. A Christian (not important to all, but importat to some). 4. A conservative record as far as public donations to candidates, etc. 5. Admirer of the Federalist Society 6. An outsider, i.e. not a part of the washington inside cocktail set. 7. Apparently, not even a lawyer. Juist someone who can read plain english and apply it. 8. Someone who is "Constitutionally Qualified" i.e. anybody.
LOL! Let's try Edith Hollan Jones, first. Then, if that one doesn't fly we'll come back to you ...

However should = whoever. Sorry.
How are you going to explain that picture of you with that cow? You were a wild man. I gotta party with you cowboy.
(ala Stripes) :)
Your statement, "Can't we all just get along?" will go down in history. You are a bridge between the races, to the 21st century and to infinity and beyond.
I still like Diane Sykes.
However, Brown and Luttig get my nod before all others. I like someone with a solid track record.
You'd be the bomb, but you're far too modest, I'm afraid - your reputation would preclude an amicable confirmation.
Just kidding - everybody loves Rodney!
(can't we all just get along?)
Was it not Luttig who called Casey a "super stare decisis"?
Read it again. In his opinion, lower courts are bound by the USSC decision. Unless Roe made it back the USSC, lower courts cannot over turn it.
RK Bump.
