My daughter pulled this on me, I just let her walk around cold until she was shaking and wanted me to hold her. I put the coat on and then held her, she got the idea.
Come summer time we had the opposite problem with her. She ran around with her coat and mittens on, we fought for hours,once she went outside like that her friends laughed at her so she took them off.
