oh that's the least of my problems today. i feel just terrible. today is xsteen's 17th birthday. yesterday was her court date to get her driver's license. they have to show up and hear a spiel from a judge etc. and they had them the permanent license. her temp license expired the day before. well i was mistaken about the location of the courthouse, so we didn't get there in time. now she has to wait for a court-generated notice of the next date for this court thing, and she has no license to drive alone in the meantime. i feel soooooooooooooo horrible. she cried, i cried. and there is not a thing i can do to correct it, other than just wait for the next date. and it's all my fault.
