October 25, 2005, Tuesday
In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of word for the day. Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the word of the day; in a sentence. The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day.
Subbie Slip has her whip, handcuffs and legcuffs today.
The rest of the stuff is locked up in my drawer. Im just letting all the new students know that we behave as if we were ladies and gentlemen in here. Those two words as if can get you an A if you make the subbie laugh.

Pronunciation: mal/ee/a/bal

There once was a virgin infallible,
Whose virtue was simply not malleable.
Though she dined and she dated,
It was always G-rated.
In short, the girl was not dally-able.

Ewwwwww! Read the article, but I still believe in what the Tiger said four years ago: Condi will run for POTUS in 2008 and win.

What did you do to hurt your back, Whyisa? Or is it just too difficult to write?
A++++ for you, though!

Mr. George Galloway M.P., who vehemently denied any involvement in the UN Oil-For-Food scandal before a Senate hearing in May 2005, has now been found to have received some
$600,000 in profits from brokering oil-for-food deals.....
I recommend that Mr. Galloway's skull be tested immediately for malleability.

I'm trying to find out just how bad the flooding has been around here, since they closed schools today "due to inclement" weather.
