Hubble could not see that stuff anyway.

You *can* still pick out the remains of the missions on the surface with an observatory 'scope. Try your local university.Only the corner reflectors. There is not an optical telescope made that can resolve lunar artifacts.

The Hubble is finally being aimed at the moon. They are looking for landing sites for Apollo Ver. 2.

Excellent, that means it can be easily seen.....No. Film from the liftoff showed the flag being blown over.

Was the flag pushed over by exhaust from the motor, or was it hit by debris?

Methinks Nitro would be more comfortable amongst
"reality-based community" than on FR.
In the meantime, Buzz has something to say to him:

The landing was real. Even for the times it was a matter of funding and having the will to do it. The technical challenge was not that great once we figured out how to achieve orbit.
The one thing the doubters don't understand is that going to the moon was relatively simple. Funding it was hard.

Good evening. I didn't think I'd see your moniker responding to this thread. Reminds me of Harry Callahan (FR). You couldn't convince him even if he were on the moon.

Good evening.Good evening back. :-)

Dashing Dasher (Thank you for the ping!!!) pinged me. :-)
Reminds me of Harry Callahan (FR). You couldn't convince him even if he were on the moon.
No kidding. For the life of me I don't understand why some folks need to believe that it was faked.

Why did you post this tinfoil garbage to begin with?
To: RadioAstronomer
I smile
gleefully when I think about it. The man has done and been through so much, that it was incredibly gratifying to watch him fight back.
As for that link: currently it's no.17 on the Google searches for "reality based community"overall, and number one when searched together with "Democratic Underground". I love turning the left's inane catchphrases against them (again, smiling gleefuly).
To: RadioAstronomer
They try so hard to prove it was fake....
I agree - don't get it!
Thought you'd get a giggle, though.

I wonder if Dinky Watson is still alive. He could get us back to the moon and probably Mars for that matter.

ROFL!!! Didn't ya know, it was all done with mirrors and a movie stage. It was really a stunt double who only flew from Calais to Paris. :-)

Dinky Watson Green Acres - The episode where a boy sold a moon rock and claimed that he built a rocketship and flew to the moon. :-) LOL!
