If they still need to find the deer, how do they know the deer was 6 foot tall? They dont get that tall here in Texas!

Amen, Pard. I have hunted White Tail in 17 States and NEVER came close to a "6 foot deer". How did they measure that? At the shoulder, tip of the G2's?
It is obvious that this poor guy decided to plant on his backyard and the deer, in their righteous anger decided to take matters into their own hooves. Sheesh.....
