Didn't help that I had a professor who thought everyone was a chemistry major.

Must be the same teacher! She said her A has brought her class grade avg up to about a C now....she really hasn't been doing very well in that class. Last test to go is her final, in a couple weeks. I remember trying to take chemistry in high school, but dropped out, as I understood nothing; while in college taking biology, there was a week or two of chemistry thrown in...and it was the same thing....I had a hard time understanding it. Glad that was the end of my chemistry course work!

I could understand chemistry when it was presented well. I didn't have any problems with it in biology, physiological psychology or psychopharmacology. It's just that I had a professor who taught with the assumption that his students already knew most of this stuff and if you asked him to explain something, he would just repeat it the way you didn't understand it the first time. The only wauy I maintained a B average was by spending way more time studying than I should've had to so that I could figure it out for myself.

That sex perp I've been ranting about for months on end is WAS scheduled for trial tomorrow. I have been informed that this is to be yet another supression hearing. Apparently when he was talking about pleading the case he was only willing to plead guilty if he wouldn't get any prison time. So now the worthless prosecutor's office is claiming that the further delay is because we haven't made the child in question available. HUH??? They ask a couple of days ahead of the trial to interview a child that they know is 2 1/2 hours away and in a very fragile emotional state. They know that arrangements need to be made to have her brought here by her therapist. They know that in the event that she might have to testify that it will take a lot of time to prepare her for it. We have maintained contact with these people (way more than they would like) throughout and now somehow it is OUR fault that THEIR job isn't done??? It is like they're looking for a reason to drop this case. If you could read this guy's confession, it would make you sick, but not as sick as seeing that he was getting excited recalling it. It almost seems as if the prosecutor is batting for the other team.
