We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
TROPICAL STORM WILMA ADVISORY PACKAGE #11

Discussion:
WILMA is nearly stationary, but strengthening, in the Caribbean. It will likely be a hurricane by the next advisory.
The blocking HP center north of WILMA will likely weaken later today, allowing the system to begin moving NW.
Previous guidance had WILMA heading for the east central GOMEX coastline of the United States, now it is on a trajectory for the Florida coastline near Naples.
This is important because the northern Gulf is cold, relatively speaking, and would be hard pressed to sustain a category III hurricane at this point in the season. By making the recurve where it is forecast, WILMA will stay over warmer waters, meaning southern Florida is increasingly likely the target of a category III, or major, hurricane strike. Winds are forecast at time of landfall, VT+110 hours, approximately, to be 115 MPH.
Remember VT+110 hours is out on day 5, and errors are large. There is still the possibility the storm will err westward, so folks along the eastern half of the American Gulf litorral should begin preparations.
In the news...
There appear to be some irregularities in the balloting in Iraq, and authorities are looking into precincts that have unusually high levels of "yes" ballots for the proposed Constitution. There were scattered reports of police making off with "No" boxes.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
Somewhere, sometime, someone is going to be struck by lightening.
Thank you!
Ignoring is good.
Daughter is hosting the Birthday dinner tonight. I'm anxious to see the four grandchildren!
Getting back home to hug the wee ones, is the highlight of the day, I'm sure. I Understand, completely.
If Toby could win the Powerball, it would just about cover his grocery bill for a month or two.
Looks like we're getting out of here (Sarasota area) just in time. Hoping Wilma goes waaaaay EAST and doesn't touch FL, but it doesn't look good.
Ha! That's funny.
It's hard to believe it's happening again. Prayers for those in Wilma's path.
If it wasn't for our niece's 13th birthday, we wouldn't even consider going to Jacksonville at this time. We'll watch the projected path of the hurricane and make a decision today, although I sure hate disappointing our sweet niece.
I'm watching it and switching back and forth to the weather channel.
We're in denial here --- we just can't believe Wilma will hit the Cayman's again, but when we talked to our daughter an hour ago, we could hear the wind and they're already getting a lot of rain. Thankfully, she got her insurance reinstated last month, altho at a cost of $700 a month CI which is darn near $900 a month $US.
My daughter plans to vacation on the WEST coast of Florida next week. Obviously, I am concerned for her safety, but she is not convinced that there will be any danger. Do you have any info about that part of Florida and the hurrican?
Oh boy. Special prayers for daughter's safety!
At this point, they don't know for sure but are saying anywhere south of Tampa to the Keys. Where is she supposed to go?
Wow. I'm sure it is lovely in the islands, but it's mighty expensive to live there. Does she have any plans to relocate?
Thank you, sweet FRiend. She was awfully nonchalant last night. Not so this morning, altho she's likely right that it's still too far south (150 miles) to do much damage unless it turns sharply north.
884 -- the strongest on record in the Altantic, but small eye.
Oh yes. She and the children are coming here on November 16 to look at houses. She needs to sell her Cayman property. Her house is solid, but it's only 50 feet from the iron shore.
She's visiting a friend, but I'm not sure of the exact location. When I talked w/her yesterday, I had to hang up the phone and interrupt a dog fight over one of those baked bones sold at Pet Smart. Never mind that they had 2 bones; each dog wanted the SAME bone. lol
It should be over by next week, save for any damage.
Wilma is too strong right now -- she'll weaken.
>>Wilma is too strong right now -- she'll weaken.
We can't afford to rebuild cities anymore
I concur. Building in some low lying areas is just plain stupid and must be stopped.
