I think Jen would like the story about the monkey Richard had, and the monkey's girlfriend, and what the monkey did to the NBC TV executive ...

I will fry in H*ll for the above ...

Evening All - went shooting today with my shootin buddy. We each rented a gun, a sig 226 and a glock 26. Those two boxes of 9mm I brought didn't last long enough. (note to self; take three next time) That sig 226 was suu-wee-eet. Gots to look into the sig line more seriesly. The glock was suprisingly easy to hit with, given it's size.

It was a good day for my buddy, his first shooting foray since they cracked his chest last month. He said he needed to regain his 'balance'.

Finished the session with some SA shooting, .357 and .45.

Sounds like a good day shooting... If you rent 'em, does that mean you don't have to clean 'em?

When I was young --- early teenager --- I would go over to my aunt's house, and my cousin (12 years older than me) would play my aunt's Moms Mabley and Redd Foxx "party" records.

Jen, Rosie, Moms Mabley was perhaps the most successful female stand-up comedienne of the '50s and '60s. On-stage, she looked like this:

You may know Redd Foxx from Sanford and Son, or from The Royal Family. But he was originally a very dirty-mouthed stand-up comedian:

I was in high school when my daddy bought a Richard Pryor album, the title of which is too profane to mention here. Though, of course, I'd played the album several times, my senior year of high school I was permitted to listen to it. I knew then that I was "grown."

" ... and he had little tiny feets!"

Hair, the $ 5.00 'rent' fee is actually for 'cleaning'. Any of the used guns in display cases are available that way. Pretty good deal imho. I've 'rented' quite a few there.

The place where LSA, OT and I shoot in KS has range guns, dedicated to range use. $10.00 rental there; but that's across the state line so natcherly it cost more. Right OT?

Ramius, I like the double action feature; it had a decocker. The DA pull was smooth, the SA was even smoother - very nice indeed. Haven't shot a Kimber but they are well thought of around here for sure.

Well that part's nice then that you don't have to clean them!

Although I do love the smell of Hoppe's in the house... They should make Hoppe's scented candles ;~D

Well if it has to be a series...

:)

Seriesly, if I've got two channels and nothing else to do, and the choice is between a football game and You've Got Mail, I won't even care who's playing.
