My characters want to go off the outline. How inconsiderate!
I've got some showing up that aren't even ~in~ my outline.
I need to map them all out and show how they're related. Yesterday a casual high school acquaintance (and Guido's daughter) became a key player in the plot.

I know... They really were a very exciting and fun time. One that I don't imagine will be repeated.
I've never read Narnia... So though we'll undoubtedly go see it, it's ~not~ the same. And I'm not sure I'd want it to be. I mean... we'd have to move from our hobbit hole into a wardrobe closet.
You'll never get all the elves back in a closet.
I suspect the Narnia movie(s) will spark a whole new series of threads and relationships (there's already a ping list). But it won't be the same. And it won't be as comfortable as hour Hobbit Hole.
Without reading too much into it. What happened here is an interesting social phenomenon. I wouldn't want to try to repeat it, and I know we can't replace it.
