The Hobbit Hole XXV - Fare you well! Fare you well!
http://freeper.the-hobbit-hole.net/ ^

Posted on 10/15/2005 7:13:08 AM PDT by HairOfTheDog

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Fare you well! Fare you well!

New verse:

Upon the hearth the fire is red,
Beneath the roof there is a bed;
But not yet weary are our feet,
Still round the corner we may meet
A sudden tree or standing stone
That none have seen but we alone.
Tree and flower and leaf and grass,
Let them pass! Let them pass!
Hill and water under sky,
Pass them by! Pass them by!

Still round the corner there may wait
A new road or a secret gate,
And though we pass them by today,
Tomorrow we may come this way
And take the hidden paths that run
Towards the Moon or to the Sun.
Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe,
Let them go! Let them go!
Sand and stone and pool and dell,
Fare you well! Fare you well!

Home is behind, the world ahead,
And there are many paths to tread
Through shadows to the edge of night,
Until the stars are all alight.
Then world behind and home ahead,
We’ll wander back to home and bed.
Mist and twilight, cloud and shade,
Away shall fade! Away shall fade!
Fire and lamp, and meat and bread,
And then to bed! And then to bed!

I'm not sure where we left things with RockyMoot.

It's still hanging out there.... nothing is certain.

Wow, great news. It really sucks to have injuries that mess with any decent exercise.

Could be fun... as long as we don't have to do some other type of moot... somewhere else... for some reason or other...

Naw...just a plain one.

They ripped it completely off it's support. Left the nails.

The jedis are watching Star Wars III...I guess we've just abandoned school for the day, because here in a bit they have a "Turkey Shoot" to go to (a gun safety event put on by a police officer, the husband of one of the ladies in BA CHEF.)

I've got that in mind.... that we should play it a bit by ear to see if we can kill two moots with one trip. :~D

That's wonderful!

I woke up with my eyes not stuck to my eyeballs this morning! What a relief!

It's a great feeling to wake up and open your eyes and there's no agony! I just lay there blinking for a long time, just amazed.

My feet feel great!

I am ~so~ glad to hear that!! I've hated watching you cringe every time you stand up.

The current plan which will probably stay the plan is that we will be in your neck of the woods the weekend of the Jan 14 & 15. Does that work for you? Lunch after church and before we catch flights to parts unknown seems like it might work. Other options are possible.

It's really amazing because otherwise you would never know anything was done...other than my eyes not feeling gritty and "stuck" when I wake up. I mean, they don't water excessively or anything like that.

It's such a relief!

Still wish they've given me a valium, though. ROFLOL!!

Heh, half the time I don't know where I'm going to be next week, let alone two months down the road... but we'll make tentative plans to meet up that weekend! Just keep us updated here or with FRMail if your schedule changes!
