Firstly, I fully agree with your point on immigration. I hope you can imagine how I feel when it is going to take 9 years for my stepdaughter to immigrate her legally, and her mother is a citizen.
Secondly, I have no doubt that Miers is an originalist. May I suggest you read the following:
