Untreated cutaneous anthrax has a 5% to 20% case fatality rate. Naturally occurring anthrax is sensitive to penicillin.

I thought you may find this interesting. This has been under the radar of the MSM since July. The NYT is focusing on the Canine Flu and yet this is a greater disease outbreak and is more significant.
