I've read most of the Narnia stories. They helped me get some sleep. Lewis's greatest works were non fiction.

However, I will go see the movie.

There are lines in his fiction works that I remember as strongly as bible verses.

"I have a feeling he likes to be asked". (on why Aslan didn't give Digory enough food for a journey)

"Haven't you heard what I said? Of course, he isn't safe. But he's good." (Mrs. Beaver, on Aslan.

My child, no one is told anyone's story but his own". (Aslan, after being asked about someone else's faults).

They are wonderful books to learn doctrine and understand the ways of God. Whenever my kids would ask abour prayer for something, we would say, "I have a feeling he likes to be asked".
