Minnesota Vikings players are being investigated in connection with a lake cruise that turned into a wild sex party last week on Lake Minnetonka. The party became so out of control that crew members on the two yachts were offered money for sex and feared for their safety, law enforcement authorities and an attorney for the cruise company said Tuesday.

Head coach Mike Tice told reporters today that he's not happy about the allegations, while refusing to comment or confirm any details

The excursion Thursday on two yachts owned by Al & Alma's Supper Club and Charter Cruises in Mound was organized by first-year Vikings safety Fred Smoot and possibly two other players, according to Stephen Doyle, the company's attorney.

I'm sorry, but this is the most outragous thing I've ever heard and Mike Tice needs to be fired.  Fred Smoot is playing Safety???  The guy's listed at 178 lbs. and that's a stretch.  He's probably 172 and there's no way he can play in the box, work through garbage and provide run support at that weight.

They've already got a pair of good safeties in Chavous and Sharper, what do they want with a wrap and drag tackler back there.  Simply disgusting.

A three hour cruise...a three hour cruise.

The players started getting rough, the tiny dress came off, if not for the courage of the fearless crew, the virginity was lost. The virginity was lost....

Crew members were propositioned for sex for money and were terrified.

Poor guys. I would have been too.

Well, Smoot's one thing. Receiving is another. Ever since Ahmad Rashad and Culpepper had that bust-up things haven't been the same...

This is what happens when you appoint a head coach who ranked 249th among all players in 1983 as a tight end. This would probably be a good time to let him go, because I hear there's an opening on the Supreme Court.

I dont think anyone quite got my attempt at subtle humor

When I said "poor guys" I meant the crew-MEN had been approached and were terrified.

As someone noted on YESTERDAY's post on the same subject, you can draw two conclusions from this incident:

1. When you put Vikings on boats, you have to expect them to rape, pillage and plunder; and,

2. The Vikings clearly miss the moral leadership of Randy Moss.

If the Vikes were 4-0, would this even be a story?

Hell no.

Just another case where the media whores (ie Rhome)take it upon themselves to judge and jury others.
