Thank you. :) I have the same reservations that those opposing Miers do, but I don't believe they will bet he case, and I just refuse to give into the bad that might be, over the good that looks very well like it may be. I was not initally happy with the pick of Miers, and I would have preferred Luddig or Owens personally. If Miers turns out to be a Suiterite, there will be plenty of time to rip her and Bush publically, but until then, I choose to give Bush the little bit of trust and the time to prove me either right or wrong in my vote for him last November. Being in a stew for three months over something that no one knows what the outcome will be just seems pointless. I'd rather be prayerful and positive and pray for the best and not expect the worst.
On the Bush-bot angle, I also believe in strict immigration reform, and I recycle all the garbage I can, can't stand smoking, and would support a 50% to 100% big tobacco and alcahol tax. Am I still a goose stepping Bush-bot???

I do share your general optimism. Life goes on. I (generally) don't care if I get my way, or not, when it comes to government. It's bigger than me, and life is too short. Even "the worst" does not discourage me.
