WOOOO HOOOOO! Congrats. It was a tough one. Thank God I am sober and have a God (A God that is not me :-). The spiritual readings and meetings and connecting with other sober conservatives (don't know any here in Santa Monica or West LA, I have to call up Nor. Cal, but at least I know some.) are more important then ever as I am a bit sad and down after the election.

But I must remember there is a higher plan and I need to keep doing His will one day at a time. I am so happy for you Rob. Thanks so much for sharing this with us.

Thanks to you for this thread. I celebrated 1 year on 10/27 and am so thankful not to have hangovers, among other things. Instead, I have a renewed faith and am happy about my life.

Well God made it so easy for me to quit drinking years ago, so now that I'm trying to quit smoking he's laying back laughing and making me do most of the work.

How did I obtain so many vices?????
