My nerdy interests include accounting/tax, computers, and science fiction. However, my love for sci-fi just hasn't been the same since Star Trek TNG went off the air.
I still would like to go to the Star Trek Experience in Las Vegas. LOL!

Well, I'm not as nerdy as I used to be. I have contact lenses. ;-)

I never seen the series before when I saw Serenity. So I was not surprised that at least a few of them would die. I bought the series and now feel, too bad they did. (spoiler: Highlight to read) But I was afraid River would die when she sealed herself and the reavers outside the blast door.

Walmart is like Tesco without the firearms! Our constitution doesn't guarantee the right to bear arms, unfortunately!

Thanks. I am currently at 104 pages. So it is going well. It has been a bit slow lately but not stopped.
To: Paul_Denton
How many pages are you going for? My novel is 138 pages long, and is not really a sci/fi story, more of a technothriller, with sci/fi elements. I am getting ready to enter it into the Kiros contest,as it was originally meant to be a screenplay.

Who are Missing Persons and Bnannaramaa??????? Is my age showing? Seriously, I have an 18 year old daughter so have had my share of listening to her stuff. Most of it is okay, but I will NEVER understand the attraction to rap. Besides the oldies, I like Texas country and swing music.

Bunreacht na hEireann What is that?

I am going for at least 400 pages here. Mine is a hard-sci-fi (that is realistic sci-fi) space epic that centers around a squad of Marines.
To: Rca2000
Very cool :) Technothrillers are also great.
To: Irish_Thatcherite
Ooooh! Okay. You have to interpret that stuff for me. ;-)
