Actually, he divorced her because she insisted on remaining a Catholic. She also has made a point of raising their adopted children as Catholics.

But I don't have contempt for mormons. I just find their beliefs to be unsupportable (and not just them, but many many other religious systems and beliefs). I dunno. Magic spectacles? The Angel Moroni? Special underwear? The patriarch gets the hots for the parlor maid, and the next thing you know God demands polygamy? Mormonism is one of those creeds that is just sufficiently softened by time not to be laughed down entirely.

No, no source. Just a rumor that's been making the rounds all over the internet.
I have no idea if it's true or not. This is the first I'm hearing of Thomas being a Scientologist.

Good! No proof is good enough for me. I have been hoping he will keep his mouth shut about politics so I can continue to enjoy his music... I think he is very talented.
I guess I can handle the scientology thing as long as they are private about it. But it is so creepy and hard to ignore. Especially the aliens part!
