Scouting Report: Mussina makes his eighth career Division Series start, his fifth as a member of the Yankees. Mussina has not won in the first round since 2001, when he kept the Yankees alive with a brilliant performance in Game 3 against the A's in Oakland. Last season, Mussina took a loss against the Twins despite allowing two runs over seven innings. In his career, Mussina is 3-2 with a 3.00 ERA in the Division Series.
Colon won 21 games this season to lead the American League in wins and establish a career high. He also matched Nolan Ryan for second-most wins in a season in franchise history. Colon is 2-2 with a 3.45 ERA in four career postseason starts. Last season, Colon started Game 2 of the ALDS with Boston and allowed three runs on seven hits over six innings for a no-decision. Colon has been bothered by a sore lower back, but went 10-2 over his last 13 starts to finish the season.

Giambi with a single to right.
If Sheff gets a hold of Colon's heater the ball will end up in Disneyland.
