Much of this would be great to hear. Much of this would be collossally stupid.
Ironically, some of the same people calling for us to "declare victory and get out" also blame us for the rise of the Taliban in Afghanistan because we chased out the USSR, declared victory, and got out. Supposedly we "left the place in ruins" and "didn't help them" build a new government, so the Taliban is our fault. Now quick, let's do it again in Iraq!
