BOSTON RED SOX VS. CHICAGO WHITE SOX
NEW YORK YANKEES VS. LOS ANGELES ANGELS OF ANAHEIM

Beat those NY Yankees of Bronx.
If the Yanks had won today they'd be waiting for the Angels to arrive in New York. Instead they've got to head west to start the post season.

8:00PM ET
It's the Bronx.
I know who I'm NOT rooting for, after reading today's Chicago Tribune article about White Sox owner Jerry Reinsdorf's visit to current White Sox General Manager Kenny Williams home 20+ years ago and 'falling in love' with their family story, and realizing 'how much he had in common' with Williams' father Jerry.
"Jerry Williams grew up in Berkeley, California, with Black Panther leader Huey Newton, sued for the right to join a mostly white San Jose Fire Department and grew so close to San Jose State track teammates Tommie Smith and John Carlos-the duo sent home from the 1968 Olympics after their clenched-fist, black power salute on the medal stand-the Carlos was Ken's godfather."
Really gave me a warm fuzzy feeling about all those great times and great Americans like the Panthers and Carlos, as well as their defense attorney Hillary Clinton.....
Go Boston.
Ping!
I'm picking the Sox to win.
You're really going out on a limb there.
Hey, over here!
We'll chat here until the live game thread that goes up Tuesday!
Clement v. Contreras, Wells v. Buehrle, Wake v. Garcia, Schill v. TBA
Ok, I figured I had to be the first to say it. But I'm afraid the White Sox are going to beat Boston, they've righted the ship just in time. And Anaheim has the Yankees' number, so I'm picking Anaheim-White Sox in the ALCS. I think Anaheim will win that in 7 to go to the World Series.
I would love to see the 'Stros make it out of the NL. I think they'll beat Atlanta, and get another showdown with the Cardinals. Hard to go against St Louis in that one.
St Louis and Anaheim in the World Series, Cards in six.

I'm picking Anaheim to win it all but I think Boston will beat Chicago.
Get ready for another October of sleepless nights!
I'm glad to see they're making the Yankees play a game at 10:00 ET. That was a lot of fun staying up till 1:00 in the morning the last two years.
I just think Boston's pitching is a little too weak. They do have experience on their side, for what it's worth. But I just think Chicago is going to be a little too much for them.
No doubt about it!!
