2005 MLB POST SEASON MATCHUPS
ALDS
BOSTON RED SOX VS. CHICAGO WHITE SOX
NEW YORK YANKEES VS. LOS ANGELES ANGELS OF ANAHEIM
NLDS
SAN DIEGO PADRES VS. ST. LOUIS CARDINALS
HOUSTON ASTROS VS. ATLANTA BRAVES
You could be right. I just need to see the White Sox do it in the post season first.
It still beats sitting at home rooting for any team other than the Yankees!
Hopefully they won't dig themselves another 0-3 hole to climb out of.
I think we all know who the executives at Fox are routing for in the two ALDS series.
What the heck happened to the Tribe this weekend?!!
Thanks, man. I'm sorry it couldn't be you guys and us and the Yanks at home.
Hitting ran dry. If I had to blame one man, it would be Ronnie Belliard. Grounded into a double-play with men on second and third against Tampa, bottom of the ninth (lost by one). Popped out or grounded out late in a rally two or three other times. Just useless with a bat.
Bats cooled off, plus the Indians had a mediocre record at home anyway, so there was no indication that playing in Jacob's Field was some big edge for their batters the way Fenway is perfect for many of our hitters.
It happened to us, too. Today was the first time in ages that we scored more than 6 at home.
Go Red Sox.
I'm hoping they've turned the corner. I do not want to see Millar in any playoff game unless the score is 17-1.
I'm sure Cleveland is very disappointed.
I'm in PA.
I watched the game Friday night after the Sox-Yanks. They had their chances in that one.
Oh.
Well, I knew you were rooting for them.
The Indians have NO ONE to blame but themselves. And they know it too. We all know it.
But there is always next year.
I was glad to see Cleveland back into the playoff chase. I suspect this time next year they'll be selling tickets for the playoff games at Jacob's Field.
I'm not down on the Tribe, though. Our boys gave us fans one helluva ride. No regrets.
are you kidding I bet this weekends series will have bigger rating that most playoff series!!
