If the Celts got screwed with a bad call he'd be to busy yelling at he ref to cover the game.

Hopefully Tony LaRussa has been showing old videos of the Cubs-Padres series from 1984.

You're right-Anything can happen!

Brother, I hope your right but I'd be shocked in the Sox won the WS this year ( or even made it to the WS!) Our pitching makes me nervous.

"Regarding the fans: Chief Wahoo is still smiling, why shouldn't we? "

Good for you! Thats a very positive attitude but I'm not surprised in the least. You Indians fans sure are loyal and have a lot to be proud of.
I remember not too many years ago us Sox fans dreaded the Indians arrival at Fenway.
I attended the ever so miserable double header some years ago where the Indians slapped us around.

Our pitching makes me nervous.

That's how you know it's genuine Red Sox!

I do worry about my mother, though, she's getting up there and has a hard time dealing with playoff stress.

But in general what I think about old folks is, if the last two years didn't kill 'em nothing will, and now they've seen the Sox win it in their lifetime so they can die happy regardless.

After 2003 my mother apologized for letting me become a Red Sox fan -- I reassured her that we'd win it in 2004.

Like we had a choice in the matter to begin with.

Your are making a bold pic. I cant see the Angels taking the Yankees. If they do they must win tomorrow. Forcing Torre to throw Johnson in game 2 I think the best we can hope for is they take it 5 games and screw up their rotation for the A.L.C.S. I hope I am wrong. I think the Sox dont match up well this year if the Yanks have a rested game 1 Johnson.

I've long been annoyed with his getting my hopes up for a home run everytime a Sox player hits a fly ball.

One of the many reasons why I watch NESN instead of listening to WEEI. I want to see a baseball game, not listen to some guy with a really annoying nasal voice tell me what he's seeing at the game.

That rally monkey is actually very disturbing. It looks like it's been dead for a week or so.

In any case, though, go Angels!

(For this series, anyway)

Torre won't move him up a game even if they do lose game 1.

Take care of the Yanks!

We'll give it our best.

Garrett Anderson and Steve Finley are starting to hit, and the bullpen seems to have gotten over their collective problem.

You only have to face the Big Unit once.

Today is all I'm worried about. If Colon holds A-Rod in check, I'm calling for a sweep of the Yanks.

It should be noted that we'd be division champs right now if the Wake who showed up in the Bronx was the one that showed up in Fenway. RJ is not unbeatable.

3 days rest ..... usually a bad idea.

I don't care for the timing of this one; it's right in the middle of my commute, so I'll miss the first 30-34 minutes.
