The ranking system is apparently all screwed up now...
I've been promoted to corporal 3 times, but i dont have the points for it, and when I log into EA, it still shows me lance corp. I don't like the vehicle sound changes... they were much more realistic in 1.02. So far, it looks like they fixed everything but the things I was looking for them to fix. Oh... so they made stingers more effective... woopee! (not) aircraft still too dominant, and tank armor still too weak... and still takes 2+ rounds to kill aircraft with tank. I WANT SABOT ROUNDS!!!
I don't know... jury is still out on this.
My gut feeling is 1.04 will have to come pretty soon.
I know of one guy already who will have to re-install because the patch fried his CD key validity.
I read a couple of others who had their keys rendered invalid. The list of problems is endless. Bunny hopping, dolphin diving - both ridiculous and basic implementations if DICE/EA wanted a combat simulator instead of an arcade game. The red teammate bug is still there. The promotion thing happened to me. I got promoted on three different servers before it finally updated.
I agree, I can't believe they didn't add sabot rounds. When an M1A2 is on relatively even footing with an APC, something is wrong.
Well I patched and am pleased for the most part. Smoother graphics in general. BUT, I can't map my joystick! No + and - for the axes and duplicate key errors. WTH?
