Exactly. Especially considering the Sox lost both their closer and their ace for the season (Curt is just a good pitcher at this point).

Skankee fans would pay to see their team of steroid-shooting cheaters beat up on little leaguers as long as they win.

Chemistry is a helluva lot more important than payrolls.

Plenty of low payroll teams have won the WS and plenty of high payroll teams sit home in Oct. watching the games on their plasma TVs.

When the Yanks win the whiners bitch about how they have an "unfair advantage" due to their huge payroll and when they lose they both marvel and rejoice that a team with such an advantage didn't win it all.

It's real tired.

You can't have it both ways-- take special glee when they fail due to their $200 million payroll, and then criticize them for their $200 million payroll when they win.
