Way too much credit given to single women here. We are not so itimidating. We have cartloads of insecurities and will compromise important dreams too easily and then distrust our own judgement... or I do anyway.
Thimk of all the mistakes being made by single women that are undermining our country's social and economic structures.. unwed motherhood, living with bums and predators and increasing drug and alcohol abuse.
Don't be afraid.. but, please, be careful.
That is probably true, but in my case, the problem is this: I see a beautiful woman who's attracted to me, and I get that "Aw shucks, she can do better" mentality. It's really not insecurity, but honesty. I know that sounds like I'm parsing words, but "a man's got to know his limitations."
But what I always come back to is this: "Why don't you let her make her own decision about it!? Give her a chance to get to know you."
Val, WORTH REPEATING:

And the Man needs to muster up the testosterone to approach the girl--and SHE needs to give him some sort of sign that it is OK to do so...extended eye contact and a smile mean "hi, the door is open, come into my space and talk"
