Yeah. There was something--possibly--insane about those. Made me wonder about. . . .

Possibly insane? LOL. His diatribes about how HE knows the (real) history of psychiatry and no one else really does were ... insane. Then there was his 'attack' on Oprah. Makes me wonder, too...

I wanted to be Sean Connery as a kid.....for very obvious reasons. LOL

Yes, LOL indeed. Excellent choice! He was excellent in The Hunt for Red October and Russia House, in addition to his Bond flicks.

I hated the choice of Alan Alda in What Women Want.

Yep, seems mutually exclusive.

Brando in "Guys and Dolls"
John Wayne in "The Conqueror" (although it's a hoot as a result)
Richard Beymer in "West Side Story"
Ralph Fiennes in "The Avengers"
Steve Zahn in "Sahara"

Julia Roberts in Pelican Brief....
She was supposed to be a law student - and every time she used a multisyllabic word, I would cringe.
Julia Roberts in Mary Reilly - what was she thinking?

Keanu Reeves in anything where he needs to talk and/or show emotion.

Leonardo in Titanic - I kept thinking Kate Winslet would crush him if she hugged him too tight.

Timothy Dalton as James Bond - Barf.

Gweneth in The Perfect Murder.
Completely unbelievable in the part.

Rupert Everett in An Ideal Husband...
Having a dozen women chasing an OBVIOUSLY GAY MAN is a HUGE GAFF.

IMO Nicholas Cage is perpetually lost in ANY role. Too true. He might be well cast as a high school drop out, and I thought he did fine in "Adaptation," but there's always something missing. I don't understand his popularity with producers and directors.

He's Francis Ford Coppola's nephew

Go rent "From Russia with Love". It's one of the best spy movies ever, hands down.

That's because the early Bond films tried to remain true to the original Ian Fleming books as much as practicable. They didn't start getting weird and over the top until "Goldfinger".

There is NO worst casting blunder than Edward G. Robinson cast as a slimeball slavemaster in the 'Ten Commandments' -- ("Who's your Messiah noooow???")
