Building on the success of her first single, “Inside Your Heaven”, which would eventually be named Billboard’s Top-Selling Country Single of the Year and Top-Selling Hot 100 Song of the Year, Carrie was inundated with song submissions and professional advice. But the choice of what would be included on her debut album, she says, was hers alone.
