Does this seem like a USA Race to anybody? Usually the team are out of the country by now. Next week Gettysburgh. I definitely noticed that Phil did NOT say "a race around the world".
My favorite part of this episode was when the Black's son fell in the water. Dad just picked him up and made a comment about "these things happen". Nice family.
I was rooting against the Linz's. The puking/vomiting brother kept making comments about the women in the race. I think he's a pig.

Definitely could be a USA or maybe "North American" TAR this year.
I would think that getting 40 people and crew around the world is a logistical nightmare...much more so than 20 people and crew. Maybe they kept them in North America to save a lot of teams getting stranded in some 3rd world (remember how many times you have heard "That flight is full" in previous seasons?)
Cool, hurry up Tuesday Night!

Phil said at the beginning there are 7 elimination pitstops, that means 6 non-elimination pitstops if they go the normal 13 pitstops. You have the advantage on me with DVR--I missed some of the things that Phil said while I was typing Tuesday night. Someone else pointed out that instead of saying that this is "a race around the world" Phil said that this is "a race for $1 million dollars", meaning that this TAR might never leave the US. I'm okay with that. Just as long as they don't make a habit of it.
So far I'm rooting for team Pink, the guy and 3 daughters, and the guy and his 3 son in laws. (we need team names stat!)
Team Pink? Ack, that sounds too close to "Code Pink". I like "The Blondes" for the Godlewski sisters, myself :)
The Aiellos are one of my favorites too, but the Bransens ... I don't know. So far they seem kind of bland to me.

This is a low-volume list.
Names are pinged only on Tuesday nights, coinciding with every new TAR episode.
If theres a TAR related story or thread that you think would be of interest, please post a link or an excerpt here on this thread.
Thanks.
And as always, if you want on or off this ping list, just let me know.
