Either that or somebody with access to the show is talking.
Exactly...since it has happened two seasons in a row.
I have no idea, but I did read that the vast majority of the bets for this season were coming from the local geographical area of where one of the families resides.
Ain't saying which one to prevent spoilers.
Wouldn't doubt the producers are looking into it.
Oh man. I tried watching that the first time it come on and left after the first show. Not any of them were decent. Thought maybe I was wrong and tried to watch tonight and my first assessment was spot on. :)
Well odds are higher for a team from Louisianna to win. :) Hope not, since I'm not too particular for either one of them.
Freddy and Kendra(braindead pretty whiny models) won TAR season #6. I could have cared less, that finale sucked big time, it almost seemed they just went through the motions.
Season #7 starts on GSN tonight.
You are going to love season 7. IMHO, it was the best one. Many strong teams, fierce competition and some funny characters. :) I loved the 2 southern big boys. I think I will rewatch. Thanks for the heads up.
They were taken off track by the lipstick lesbos at that beach in Peru(where the lipstick girls pointed them to the 7:40 AM sand pile).
Season #7 is kinda of uber gay agenda driven, although I already know who wins.
I actually like Rob & Amber. They make a good couple and I wish them happiness for their future.
They were taken off track by the lipstick lesbos at that beach in Peru......I know! I couldn't stand those girls. Was so glad they didn't win.
You were there watching from the jacuzzi last year too, lucky grrrrrrrl!!
Win big!
As for this year's Race, I'm not even slightly interested. Enough already of bickering families, and besides, they haven't been to an airport yet. I basically watch because I have an airport fetish.
This trip actually has a purpose. It's our fifteenth weeding anniversary and so we are going to celebrate. Will be at Wynn and the Venetian. I'll get to compare and contrast.
We try to get away for a few days each spring and fall, before and after our season. We need the rest!
I think I'm getting a kick out of this season so far. I just want to see how long the Bickerson's last! My neighbor was over and we talked about TAR. He was appalled by them as well.
I am sorry that the Blacks were eliminated last week. I thought that those parents were good role models.
DH and I have been watching TAR on GSN and enjoying the early shows, some of which we missed.
Hope everything is going well for you!
Excellent job, silent jonny! The thread looks super!
I didn't love the Race though, as it didn't really go anywhere and got mired down in family squabbling. I did pick two favorites, the goal-oriented, hard-bodied Gaghans with their precious and smart little kids and the rather attractive Schroeders from New Orleans, whom I just liked personally. Neither family had much drama going on and were pleasant to one another, but the rest....I don't think I can take them coming into my living room once a week.
I'm so thrilled and delighted that you're in charge!!!!
LOL support group!
Sounds like you're on a positive track. Happy anniversary!
The Black's followed the rules, did their best but came up short just like the two bubbas from Season #7(i.e first to be eliminated) and I was sorry to see both teams go.
Liberals are always the first to bring up race, the only bad thing is that the PC linguine spined producers of the TAR probably take "bye, bye" david spade seriously.
Apparently David whazzhisname never watched TAR or he'd know that a disporportionate number of black teams have won. Two out of seven. Or is that about the right percentage of the US population?
OTOH, I've never seen David Spade. His name suggests he is racist.
I agree that's not funny. But I don't think Spade was being liberal or PC. He's not that deep.
He's been doing this same kind of shtick for about 15 years now, where he sees something on TV and makes a snarky comment about it. He's just a pop-culture animal, the comedic equivalent of Chinese food: an hour after you eat it you're hungry again.
Thank you :)
You like the Schroeders??? I can't stand 'em.
I had sympathy for them at the beginning because they lost their home to Katrina, but after hearing their dad speak for a few minutes my sympathy eroded.
But I do like the Gaghans. And the Aiellos, the Linzs and the Godlewskis (aka "The Blondes"--our first team to have a nickname :)
Are you saying liberals are deep?(I would tend to agree if you meant liberals are deep in feces)
Just kidding with you SJ.
Don't take it seriesly. Just trying to keep this thread light hearted, again much appreciate your work for this thread.
TAR #8 is only on the second episode and the replies(and no doubt views on FR) are already more than half for the whole TAR#7.
Jumping in late as I just got around to watching it today on DVR (and I'm now reading this thread because I didn't want to read any spoilers earlier)
Phil said at the beginning there are 7 elimination pitstops, that means 6 non-elimination pitstops if they go the normal 13 pitstops.
So far I'm rooting for team Pink, the guy and 3 daughters, and the guy and his 3 son in laws. (we need team names stat!) Sorry to see the Black family leave so soon as I really wanted the Paolos to get whacked. Their kids have no respect for their mother and I think they learned it fromdad...what a crappy family.
Can't wait till next week.
BTW: Does this seem like a USA Race to anybody? Usually the team are out of the country by now. Next week Gettysburgh.
I'll bring the margarita mixin's and a portable blender...what city is central for everybody? Denver?
