Authorities say a deer, which had been dead nearly a week, was strapped to the gurney in the back. The suspect has been taken to Umstead in Raleigh for a psychological evaluation. Police have not released his name. He was just trying to get it to the freezer ASAP. Why was he going to Eden? Did he think crossing the state line was going to stop the chase?
